This Privacy Policy explains how TimetableGen (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit timetablegen.com and use our online timetable tools. We designed the service so most of your schedule data stays on your own device unless you choose to share or contact us.

- Your timetable content is primarily saved in your browser (LocalStorage), not on our servers by default.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We use limited third-party services for fonts, styling, and optional scripts needed to run the site.
- If you email or message us via the contact page, we use your details only to respond.
Information we collect
1. Timetable data (stored locally)
When you create or edit a timetable, the app may save information in your browser’s LocalStorage, including:
- Class or event names, teachers, rooms, and time slots
- Display preferences (theme, language, layout density)
- Template choices and undo history where enabled
This data remains on your device unless you clear browser storage, use a different browser or device, or share a generated link that encodes schedule data in the URL.
2. Share links
If you use the “Share URL” feature, timetable information may be embedded in the link you copy. Anyone with that link could view the encoded schedule. Only share links with people you trust.
